C-SPAN lets The Savage Nation Speak for itself

In one of it's most entertaining segments ever,
Washington Journal's Brian Lamb read hate letters from the denizens of Michael Weiners Savage Nation this morning, complaining, at his behest, about C-Span's "censorship."

Appallingly, C-Span failed to air the acceptance speech by Mr. Weiner.

Mr.Weiner did not actually show up for the Talkers Magazine annual "Freedom Of Speech Award" ceremony, but instead sent a " a hastily- made YouTube- style home video," which Radio Equalizer described as "so bad that it was actually good."
According to Radio Equalizer,

"The syndicated radio host railed against Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, calling them "failed radio hosts" and "frauds", while asserting that liberals have almost- universal control over the world's ideas and images, with talk radio as one of the rare exceptions."

Now, to retalliate,  Mr. Weiner has urged his grammatically and fact-challenged minions to take up his cause by overwhelming C-Span with a barrage of hate mail challenging Brian Lamb's "Stalinist" censorship tactics and misuse of their hard-earned tax dollars.

Brian Lamb brilliantly responded by reading, verbatim, letter after laughable letter, all the while pointing out that C-Span uses no tax dollars, and was not even at the event,  making it virtually impossible for C-Span to have "shut down their cameras as soon as Savage's speech began," as they were being accused of doing.

For those who want a refresher on some of the Savage Weiner's philosophy, both before and after he was fired by MSNBC, here's a few  quotes:

On the Muslim Religion:

"Why doesn't someone say, "It's a bloodthirsty religion that's practiced over there by a bunch of throwbacks, and we're gonna kill 'em"? "That's it, we're leaving them; we're killing them, now get out of there." That's what the whole world is screaming at Bush."

On Wolf Blitzer and Larry King:

"That's why the department store dummy named Wolf Blitzer, a Jew who was born in Israel, will do the astonishing act of being the type that would stick Jewish children into a gas chamber to stay alive another day. He's probably the most despicable man in the media next to Larry King, who takes a close runner-up by the hair of a nose. The two of them together look like the type that would have pushed Jewish children into the oven to stay alive one more day to entertain the Nazis."

On feminism and homosexuality:

"Feminism is destroying America. Homosexuality is destroying America. Weepy liberalism is destroying America. That's why we're walking around here like the walking dead. We need leadership. We're craving leadership....I mean, they have you believe everyone's an illegal alien or gay. If you turned on CNN, you -- they'd have you believe everyone's gay, lesbian, or an illegal alien. And only, the few people that are left, the remnants, three or four thousand people left are white and go to church, and they're heterosexual, they raise children. The other 300 million people are either gay or illegal aliens or gangsters, that's according to the media."

So, my deep gratitude for Brian Lamb for allowing the Savage Nation, in it's very own words, many of which they make up themselves, to expose themselves for what they are, and giving true free speech a shining moment this morning.
